Walking at Ardnave, islay. You will get here during the Arran, islay & Jura luxury walking tour,
South-west Highlands & Islands walking tour and Islay, Jura & Colonsay walking holiday.
The holiday programme includes hiking trips all over the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, from Argyll in the south Highlands, many islands of the Inner Hebrides and all the way north to the magnificent isolation of the Orkney and Shetland Islands. Our walks are chosen not only for their breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, but also for historical, archaeological and geological interest. We take you off the beaten track and help you to explore Scotland's hidden corners, using our local knowledge to guide you to places often overlooked by most independent visitors.
Ascending Ben More during the Exploring Mull walking holiday
We scheduled our Orkney and Shetland walking tours back-to-back 2 times, so you can join both in a two week holiday. If you decide to do so, instead of boarding the ferry back to Aberdeen on the Friday, you will fly from Kirkwall to Sumburgh on Shetland, stay there overnight and join the rest of the group arriving by ferry on Saturday morning.
Both Orkney walking tours are scheduled while they are excavating on the Ness of Brodgar and we will visit the excavations.
Our Shetland walking tours will be from Friday to Friday in 2018.
Hiking at Midhowe Broch on Rousay, Orkney Islands during the Orkney walking tour
We also offer bespoke private guided hiking tours and hiking holidays. If you would like to come with a private group, please contact us with your requirements and we will send you a proposal for the itinerary, accommodation and prices.
